AHPRA Compliance &
Health Information Disclaimer
Our commitment to ethical, evidence-informed practice and transparent communication under the National Law.
1. Advertising Compliance
Elevate Health Clinic is committed to advertising its services in accordance with the AHPRA Advertising Guidelines and the advertising provisions of the National Law (Section 133). This means our advertising:
- Does not make false, misleading or deceptive representations
- Does not offer a gift, discount or other inducement to attract patients unless the terms and conditions are also stated
- Does not use testimonials or patient endorsements that make claims about clinical outcomes caused by our treatment
- Does not create an unrealistic expectation of the benefits, risks or outcomes of any health service
- Does not use language that implies a guarantee of clinical outcome
- Does not make comparisons with other practitioners or services in a way that is misleading
- Does not make claims about being “the best”, “most experienced”, “leading” or similar superiority claims that cannot be substantiated
2. Health Information Disclaimer
The information published on this website — including blog articles, service descriptions and educational content — is intended for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional health advice, diagnosis or treatment.
While we take care to ensure the accuracy of information published on this site, health information changes over time and individual circumstances vary. We encourage all visitors to:
- Consult a qualified and registered health practitioner before making decisions about your health
- Not delay seeking professional advice based on information read on this website
- Seek emergency medical attention immediately if you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency
3. Scope of Practice
Each practitioner at Elevate Health Clinic practises within their defined scope of practice as set by their relevant National Board or professional association. Our services are musculoskeletal and allied health in nature. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions outside our scope, and we refer patients to their GP or appropriate medical specialist where indicated.
Chiropractic care, exercise physiology and remedial massage are not a replacement for medical care. Patients with serious or complex health conditions are encouraged to discuss their care with their treating GP or specialist in conjunction with allied health treatment.
4. Clinical Outcome Statements
Where this website refers to clinical outcomes — for example, that chiropractic care “may help with” or “may assist in managing” a particular condition — these statements reflect current evidence and clinical reasoning, not a guarantee of individual outcome. Treatment outcomes vary between individuals based on age, health status, the nature and duration of the presenting complaint, and other factors.
No representation is made that any individual will achieve any specific health outcome as a result of treatment at Elevate Health Clinic.
5. Testimonials & Reviews
Where patient reviews or feedback are displayed on this website, they represent the individual experience of that patient and do not constitute a claim that the same or similar outcomes will be achieved by other patients. Reviews are not edited to remove or alter clinical content, and are displayed in compliance with AHPRA’s guidance on testimonials.
Elevate Health Clinic does not pay for, incentivise or solicit reviews in a manner that would breach the AHPRA advertising guidelines.
6. External Links
This website may contain links to external websites for reference purposes. Elevate Health Clinic does not endorse, control or take responsibility for the content of external sites. Links are provided for convenience only and do not constitute a recommendation of any product, service or information contained therein.
